Advance payments can be initiated via direct deposit from the cardholder's paycheck, and automatically loaded onto the card with every pay period. In contrast, it is important to consider that the card may require what they define as "fulfillment charges". These charges might include shipping and handling on the card's delivery for example, and may total up to $19.95.

While it is common for most stored value cards to lack much in the way of perks, this particular card offers free wireless alerts for account information such as recent transactions and card balances, zero liability for unauthorized transactions, overdraft protection, and integrated bill payment. There is also a referral program, which rewards a person $5 for each card activated through one of their referrals.
