The Capital One® Standard Platinum card is designed for those who have had credit problems in the past but are now working to get back on track.
The card does have an interest rate that is slightly above average for purchases and balance transfers; however, there is a 0% APR on purchases until October 2008. This card also has no annual fee as well as no balance transfer fees.
In addition, this card provides platinum benefits and services including travel accident insurance, extended warranties for purchases, and roadside assistance. Cardholders are also eligible to receive exclusive savings: up to 40% on featured deals and 10% on everything else at Capital One® Saving Zone(SM) on Yahoo! Shopping.
Therefore, those who have credit that needs some improvement and will make use of the additional services will benefit most from what the Capital One® Standard Platinum card has to offer.
