You don't have to have the credit score of a king to be able to get great travel benefits from your credit card. The Citi® Bronze®/AAdvantage® World MasterCard® is designed specifically for people with average credit who want to use their credit cards to take them places. If you travel regularly with American Airlines, this card can offer you incredible benefits.
When you use a Citi® Bronze®/ AAdvantage® World MasterCard®, you will start reaping your rewards immediately. After you get your card, you will automatically receive 5,000 bonus miles on your very first purchase, to help you get on the way to your next vacation sooner. After that, you will earn one mile for every two dollars spent on your credit card, no matter what you're buying or where you buy it.
Your miles will be redeemable for flights on over 25 American Airlines partner airlines, so you have the flexibility you will need to get to the destination of your choosing. Once you get there, you can use your miles to pay for car rentals, and hotel accommodations at hundreds of different hotels worldwide.
Though you can only earn 25,000 miles during the course of each year, you don't have to worry that those miles will expire before you can use them. As long as there is activity on your account at least once every three years, your miles will stay good, so you can use them on your own schedule. With a 25,000 mile limit, you'll get the most out of this card if you aren't planning on using it to spend more than $50,000 each year.
Though the mileage offered on this card is less than what is normally offered by an airline reward card, this credit card comes with absolutely no annual fee, so you aren't paying extra for the rewards that you're receiving. The APR on this card is above the average, and there is a minimum cap of 19.99% on cash advances, making it so that no matter how low the Prime Rate falls, the interest rate on those advances will never drop below 20.24%.
Still, this card offers other great benefits, including travel accident insurance, zero liability on unauthorized transactions, as well as many different internet account related services. Though it might cost a fair amount to use this card if you plan to carry a balance on it, if you don't, it can provide you with great travel perks without a high annual fee.
