Gold Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card
American Express is now offering the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card. This card is designed specifically for business owners who attain and maintain good credit standing and are looking to earn rewards for their travels and business expenses.
With this business credit card, the rewards are twofold. For each dollar you spend using the card for general purchases, you will receive one SkyMile credit, which is equal to one mile. However, for added benefits when you make qualifying purchases at Delta Airlines, your cellular phone bill, the United States Post Office, hardware stores, home improvement stores, gas stations, drugstores, and even supermarkets, you will earn two SkyMiles for each dollar you spend using the Gold Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card.
When making your first purchase using the credit card, you will receive a bonus of 15,000 miles. Additionally, when you reach $15,000 in purchases in a year, you will receive a bonus of 5,000 more miles. Again, when you reach $25,000 in purchase in one year, you will earn an additional 5,000 miles. Of course, if you are looking to earn more miles, for every cardholder you add, up to a maximum of five additional cardholders, you will receive a bonus of 1,000 miles. If you keep your account active, your miles will never expire.
If you are already a member of the Delta Frequent Flyer Club, your miles earned from this credit card can be combined to give you the most out of your flyer miles. The annual fee for the Gold Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card is high running at $85 per year. However, during your first year as a cardholder, the fee is waived. Additionally, if you also hold a Business Centurion, Business Platinum, Executive Business, or Business Gold credit cards, your fee will be lowered to $30 annually.
An introductory interest rate of 9.99% is valid during balances accrued in the first six months of becoming a cardholder. That rate continues for the life of that particular balance. No introductory rates are available for balance transfers. However, an excellent reward card, this credit card is not the ideal solution for businesses that intend to maintain a revolving balance.
Other benefits you can expect from the Gold Delta SkyMiles Business Credit card include Delta flight savings, companion certificates, discounts at retailers and merchants, purchase protection, and accident insurance during travel. To get the most out of this credit card, you should pay the balance completely monthly, and make use of the card in qualifying areas to obtain the greatest rewards.
