In-Depth Credit Card Review:

Estimate Reward Earnings  Compare CardsApply Now
Your credit card should do more than give you access to funds when you need them. Your credit card should be your ticket to the vacation of your dreams and the JetBlue Card from American Express® can be exactly this. If you frequently fly with JetBlue, this credit card can earn you the points you want to get you on your way to the vacation that you need.

When you become a JetBlue Card holder, you won't have to wait long before you start feeling the benefits. When you make your very first purchase with this credit card, you will automatically earn 5,000 bonus Award Dollars, so you can start working your way toward your next trip immediately. After that, you will earn one Award Dollar for every single dollar that you spend on your JetBlue Card, no matter what your purchases are or where you're buying them.

This credit card doesn't penalize you by telling you where you have to spend your money in order to get the rewards you want, but it does reward you even more when you spend your money with JetBlue. You will earn two Award Dollars for each dollar you spend on JetBlue Flights, restaurants, gym memberships, movie theaters, event tickets, and golf green fees, so you can earn double rewards for doing all the things you want to be doing anyway.

So that you understand just what you're getting, each 200 Award Dollars that you earn are equal to one TrueBlue point, and those 100 TrueBlue® points are equal to one round-trip flight with JetBlue. Just by making your first purchase, automatically earning you 5,000 Award Dollars, you're already one quarter of the way to a round-trip flight on your next vacation. However, TrubeBlue points do expire one year after they are earned.

As a JetBlue Card holder, you will also receive many different cardholder benefits. You'll receive various emergency assistance services, purchase protection on items bought with your card, extended warranty services, and even up to $100,000 in travel accident insurance.

This card does have an annual fee of $40, but this is relatively low for a travel card. You will receive a 3.99% APR for the first six months of use, including any balance transfers that you submit with your application. After this period ends, the APR is a little over the average for both purchases and balance transfers, so this card is ideal for people who aren't planning on carrying a balance.
