Starwood Preferred Guest Business Credit Card from American Express
Are you a business owner? Do you have good credit? Do you often travel or have employees who travel and frequent resorts and hotels operated by Starwood? If so, you should be taking advantage of the Starwood Preferred Guest business credit card from American Express. By using this credit card, you can reap the benefits and take advantage of the many services that are offered with this credit card.
One such benefit is the excellent reward plan offered by the Starwood Preferred Guest business credit card. You earn various points for particular purchases that can be used towards airline travel, free hotel stays, and various other travel related services. For each dollar you spend using the credit card, you will earn one point. However, for qualifying purchases at participating retail stores and Starwood properties, you will earn double points.
Provided that you keep the account active, your earned points will never expire. Additionally, the first time you use the credit card for a purchase, you will receive a bonus of 10,000 points. These bonus points add up to a free three nights stay at Starwood properties right off the bat. As if these rewards were not enough, wait until you hear one of the most exciting benefits of being a Starwood Preferred Guest business credit card holder.
If you belong to frequent flyer clubs and programs, this benefit will excite you. You have the ability to apply your rewards and points to those programs if they qualify. What is more, when you do initiate a transfer, you are actually rewarded points for doing so. You will receive a bonus of 5,000 miles for every 20,000 points you transfer into miles.
Of course, rewards are not the only benefit you receive from the Starwood Preferred Guest business credit card. You will also receive a host of other excellent benefits. Some other benefits include emergency services, travel services, and card replacement in an emergency. You will also have access to what is called the Open Savings Network. This provides you with excellent discounts on a variety of services and products offered by various participating retailers and merchants.
The downside of this credit card is that it comes with a high rate of interest on purchases. You do get to enjoy a six month introductory period that applies to both balance transfers and purchases. The card carries a $30 annual fee, however, after one year as a cardholder, this fee is waived.
